Community Garden Open Afternoon – Elderflower Cordial (Postponed)
30th May, 2020 : 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Free

Further to the Government’s recent update on COVID-19, we have taken the decision to postpone all of our events from now until the 31st May. Full refunds will be given.
We are reviewing the situation daily and will give regular updates on future events, including new dates for postponed events.
The growing season is now underway but it’s not too late to get started. There’s lots happening in the garden at this time of year and the frosts are gone so it’s safe to sow seeds. Would you like some advice and inspiration? Then visit our Community Garden and Orchard on Saturday afternoon.
Come along for a look around and see what’s growing, meet the garden volunteers and we’ll give you some ideas and inspiration to take back home.
This month we will be picking a few of the elderflowers that grow in the community garden to make our own cordial. This delicious spring drink is easy to make so come along and join in. Bring a bottle if you want some to take home.
Our gardening staff and volunteers will be on hand to offer advice and help with any garden. No experience necessary.
Refreshments will be available.
This event is free and no booking is necessary.
