Bike and Blether (Kirkcaldy Cycling Festival)
A leisurely bike ride around Ravenscraig Park and along the Prom for women and non-binary people.
Key Info:
- Distance – short
- Hills – mainly flat, with one hill.
- Surfaces – mainly surfaced, with a short stretch of compacted earth/blaes.
- Route – almost entirely traffic-free. One short stretch of very quiet road
A leisurely ride using a mix of minor roads, mixed use paths, cycle lanes and trails. This scenic ride will head along the Prom and round the coast to Ravenscraig Park (although this may be subject to change depending on e.g. weather conditions). Come along for a chat and some exercise.
This ride is open to all women and non-binary people. We aim to make this a positive and welcoming space so if you have any concerns about attending, please get in touch.
We will be meeting at the burger van in front of Morrisons.
Participants should be able to cycle for 1-1.5hrs at a leisurely pace.
Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.
