There are many benefits to encouraging kids to get into the kitchen – learning useful skills that will stay with them for life, working out measurements and quantities, making healthier choices, and learning about fresh and natural ingredients. We’re offering all of these in a fun and friendly environment!
In this class, the kids will be making…
Creamy pumpkin pasta – in this recipe, we will be cooking and blending pumpkin to make a creamy pasta sauce.
Pear and almond pastry – this open fruit tart looks and tastes fantastic for very little effort – the almond flavour complements the pears.
We will also be learning a bit about how pumpkins are grown and what they can be used for (apart from carving!).
About this event
This class is recommended for ages 5-10 years
This is a hands-on cooking class where children will be touching, tasting, and cooking food. If your child has any dietary requirements or allergies, or you would like to talk about any of the ingredients we will be using in the workshop, please let us know when you are booking. Drinks and snacks will be supplied.
Please bring containers to take food home.
Our cooking workshops are social enterprise events. All profits are reinvested back into our community.
