Art in the Garden: Charcoal Drawing Workshop

Join Fife-based artist and experienced art teacher Tori Bishop for an afternoon developing your charcoal drawing skills in our beautiful Community Garden.
Tori will lead the group through a number of exercises to help you understand how to take advantage of the versatility of charcoal as a drawing medium. You will be encouraged to discover your own style and explore composition to develop unique, creative sketches. Then, after a break for coffee and cake, you will have plenty time to capture your favourite snapshot of our Community Garden on paper to take home.
No experience of art or working with charcoal is required.
We are hopeful for sunshine, but have a cabin and open sheltered area on-site to retreat to if necessary!
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, and are the responsibility of the adult.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. If you have your own gardening gloves please bring them. In the event of severe weather we will let participants know if we need to cancel the session.
