We’ve recently heard about solar panel installers ‘cold calling’ locally, by phone and on the door-step.

We are wary of cold callers, and of any sales people who put pressure on residents to sign up or pay anything on the day. Solar panels can be a great investment, but first you need to make sure its the right thing for you and for your home. The best way to do that is to get independent advice, and then if you decide to go ahead, to get 3 quotes from Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certified installers.
