Climate Friendly Gardens – Wild Medicine and Balm Making

Led by Anna Kinross, this full day event will include a herb walk, discussion of seasonal wild foods and medicines, and the chance to make your own healing salve using dried and fresh herbs picked in the gardens.
Expect a relaxed, inspiring and informative day, with lots of time outside connecting with the plants, and some hands on medicine making. We will discuss plant ID, safe sustainable wildlife friendly foraging and harvesting practices, and how to make space for both wild and cultivated herbs in your own garden or allotment.
As well as being our Nature and Growing Projects Co-ordinator, Anna is a community herbalist and an experienced facilitator. She loves sharing skills and knowledge around wild medicines and seasonal living so that everyone can benefit from the enhanced health, wellbeing and nature connection these bring to our lives.
A basic soup/ salad lunch will be provided, along with teas, coffee and cake.
