Woodland Wander – Hidden Kirkcaldy

Starting in beautiful Beveridge Park, we’ll head to the Raith woodland, exploring areas of mature trees and waterways, and enjoying this natural haven – so close to the town yet so peaceful. We’ll be surrounded by birdlife and may be lucky enough to see squirrels and deer.

Additional Information

Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone, email and any cancellation will be also posted on Facebook if the walk cannot go ahead.

The 2.5 mile walk will take up to 2 hours, and be on a variety of surfaces: tarmac, pavement and rough paths.

Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather and please wear sensible walking shoes. Please bring your own water and snacks.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please.

Accessibility information

The route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs, due to the terrain.

Toilets may be open in park otherwise in town centre / supermarkets etc.
