On Valentine’s Day our special themed menu will introduce some new cooking techniques and skills. Whether you are coming solo, with friends or family, or in a couple, you will make, taste, and take away some delicious dishes to enjoy at home.
To begin, Sam will demonstrate:
Roasted Grapes with a Goats cheese tartine – a fruity recipe of black grapes roasted until sticky served with tartines, toasted walnuts and seasonal salad.
You will make:
Seasonal fish and seafood Wellington – from scratch, served with ‘Bavarian’ potato salad and tarragon mayonnaise.
Espresso and dark chocolate molten cake – perfect this simple but luscious and indulgent melting chocolate fondant.
(Veggie or vegan options of all these recipes available. Please let us know when you are booking)
This is a hands-on cooking class. All food made can be taken away and enjoyed at home.
This workshop will be led by Samantha Wells our Community Chef. Sam has years of experience as a private chef and brings a wealth of culinary skills and knowledge of both local and world cuisine to The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen.
Some cooking skills are required to enjoy this workshop i.e. basic knife skills. Please bring some containers to take home your food.
If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you are booking.
