Sunday Social – Ravenscraig and Dunnikier Parks

Join us for a leisurely bike ride. We will show you some quiet routes around the east of Kirkcaldy, linking key destinations such as Asda and Victoria Hospital. We will also enjoy the scenery in Ravenscraig Park, Dunnikier Park and Middleden.

• Distance – medium
• Hills – two hills
• Surfaces – mainly smooth, good quality surfaces. One short sections with a slightly rougher surface.
• Route – mainly on quiet roads, with some on traffic-free paths.

This ride is ideal for people looking for useful routes around the east of the town, whilst providing the opportunity to build up your confidence cycling on quiet roads.

Additional Information

Please note that this bike ride is weather-dependent.

Participants should be able to cycle for 1 – 1.5hrs at a leisurely pace. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride.

Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.
