Sunday Social – Linktown to Hospital

This route takes you from the residential streets of Linktown up past the train station to Victoria Hospital before returning through Beveridge Park.

• Distance – medium
• Hills – relatively flat, with a short hill by the hospital
• Surfaces – smooth road surface. One section of compressed earth with exposed roots.
• Route – mainly on quiet roads. Some short sections are traffic-free.

The route is mainly on quiet roads and has short traffic free sections. It is the perfect route to build road cycling confidence.

Additional Information

Participants should be able to cycle for 1.5 – 2hrs at a leisurely pace. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride.

Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.
