Sunday Social – Kirkcaldy North
About this event
Come along to this leisurely bike ride. We will show you some traffic-free paths around Kirkcaldy, linking key destinations such as Templehall shops, the retail park, Kirkcaldy High School and Victoria Hospital.
Key info:
- Distance – short
- Hills – mainly flat, two hills
- Surfaces – smooth, good quality surfaces
- Route – mainly traffic-free paths, with some quiet roads and one short stretch of slightly busier road.
This ride is ideal for people looking for useful routes around town, whilst providing the opportunity to build up your confidence by including some on-road cycling.
Additional Information
Participants should be able to cycle for 1 – 1.5 hrs at a leisurely pace. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride.
Remember to also bring your own water and snacks.
