Spring herbs, tonics and remedies
Join local herbalist Rosy for a workshop about natural herbal remedies that can support your health and wellbeing in the spring.
In this workshop, we will forage the Community Garden at Ravenscraig Walled Garden to identify herbs found this time of year.
We will bring some back to taste and prepare into herbal remedies that boost your overall health and well-being.
There is a theme of cleansing and detox with the five herbs we’ll focus on. We will explore this too.
After the workshop you should have increased confidence to safely identify and collect your own herbs and be able to prepare some simple, but effective remedies.
Our tutor for the morning is a Fife-based herbalist who has been practicing for over five years. She has extensive plant knowledge, having previously grown organic food and teas. Connecting people with plants through herbal medicine, education and availability of medicinal plants for growing is her passion.
