Quick fixes – Road and trail side emergency repairs

Learn how to undertake and manage road and trailside emergency repairs to get you home.

We will look at what tools and spares you can bring with you on your ride. How to make minor repairs to ensure you can get yourself and your bike home. We will also cover some problem-solving and how to improvise in difficult situations.

Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience is necessary. Minimum age is 12 years for these classes and under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult

Water, tea and coffee will be available

Ideally you should bring along your own bike or, if you like you can use one of our provided bikes. We will provide the required tools, protective equipment and work stands.

Please wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty as you will be dealing with grease and grime. Aprons and gloves will also be provided.
