Prepare for Winter Cycling

Learn how to ride through the colder and wetter winter months in this bike maintenance class.

Winter can put many people off cycling and stop from them riding all year round. With the right information and some planning skills, winter riding can be just as rewarding.

We will cover…

• What clothing to wear.
• Staying warm.
• How to make yourself more visible.
• Lights for your bike.
• Planning your ride.
• Safety considerations.
• What to do to your bike in the winter months.

Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience necessary.

Water, Tea and coffee will be available

Ideally you should bring along your own, clean bike if you like, or use one of our provided bikes. We will provide the required tools, protective equipment and work stands.
