NHS e-bike demo and Dr Bike – Victoria Hospital

This is a free drop-in event for NHS staff. There is no need to book. You’ll find us at the phase 3 entrance by the workstand. 

NHS e-bikes

E-bikes are available to all NHS staff for free as part of Healthy and Active Ways to Work. We will have an e-bike so you can take a test ride, find out more and ask questions about the scheme

We will have the NHS eBikes for NHS staff to test ride and ask any questions about the scheme. 

You will be able to reserve/book the bikes for collection from the Active Travel Hub. 

Dr Bike

Come along and bring your bike for free bike adjustments and advice for all NHS staff and the community surrounding Queen Margaret Hospital.

At Dr Bike sessions, our experienced mechanics check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. Any minor adjustments we can make to the bike, we do there and then. This will include free replacement of brake cables and blocks where required.

For more complicated repairs that we can’t fix on site, we will let you know exactly what needs to be done and give you a rough idea of what it should cost at a bike shop.
