Monthly Climate Café – Plastic-free Fife in Action!
Be part of tackling climate change – join us at our monthly climate cafes for films, guest speakers and discussions.
From food choices to toiletries, clothes to gadgets, what we bring into our homes, gardens and lives, many of the things we buy and use contain plastic. Plastic is a useful material, but it can also stick around in the environment for ages, harm wildlife, spread toxins, and contributes to climate change.
In the first part of this month’s online Climate Café, Plastic-Free groups from across Fife will be sharing their stories and successes on their local, community-driven war on plastic waste.
We will be focusing on finding practical solutions to reduce the everyday plastics that use and bring into our lives in the second half of the event, with an interactive workshop to identify and create opportunities to eliminate disposable or avoidable plastic.
The event will take place on Zoom.
