“Let’s get quizzical” walk – Ravenscraig Park and Dysart

Join us for a sociable summer stroll with a quizzical twist. We will start at Ravenscraig Park and head to Dysart Harbour via the coast path, spotting local landmarks and solving clues as we go. We return to the start via the park.

Part of our Communities Connected programme, and the Kirkcaldy Walking Festival 2024.

Additional Information

Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone and email if the walk cannot go ahead.

Participants should be able to walk 4 miles at a leisurely pace. The route is on paved paths, coast path and woodland track. The route is mainly fairly flat, with steps near the end. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs on this walk please

Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks if you feel you need them.

The event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.

Our booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events. Any information you choose to share about your background is managed separately to information that you give us to process your booking (for example, your name).

The walk includes some steps but could be adapted if required. Please let us know of any accessibility requirements when booking.

There is accessible parking available at Ravenscraig Park.

There may be toilet facilities available at the start and end of the walk at Ravenscraig Park but this is not guaranteed.
