Lang Toun Cycles winter nights off-road cycle
Meeting at Lang Toun Cycles, the rides will take in off road routes and trails in and around Kirkcaldy, exploring some “secret shortcuts” through local woodlands, up and down hills and coastal routes.
With riding on all types of surfaces, there will be elevation changes to challenge you going up as well as down and plenty of chances to share stories and the fun of off-road riding.
Lang Toun Cycles’ Project Manager David Glover is leading this. David is an experienced mountainbiker, racer and multi-day bikepacker. He has a Mountain Bike Leader qualification and has a UKCC Level 2 MTB (United Kingdom Coaching Certificate Level 2 Mountain Bike). He also has night time leader qualifications. With a wealth of experience riding in the dark, he has raced at multiple 24hr mountain bike events, including several times at the infamous Strathpuffer 24hr winter MTB race in the north of Scotland.
You will be in safe and capable hands and have the opportunity to learn new skills and tips for effective night riding off-road
