Fix a flat

Learn how to fix a flat tyre on your cycle, so that you can apply this knowledge at home or mid-ride.

Starting from the basics of how to get wheels in and out of your cycle; we will then cover removing and reinstalling tyres and inner-tubes before moving on to repairing an inner-tube, as well as discussing the various puncture repair options as well as what you can do to reduce the chances of a ride-ending puncture in the first place.

Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience necessary.

Water, Tea and coffee will be available

Ideally you should bring along your own, clean bike if you like, or use one of our provided bikes. We will provide the required tools, protective equipment and work stands. Please also wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty.

There are public parking bays available outside the shop on the High Street with level access into the building and throughout. There is also an accessible toilet.
