Dunnikier litter-pick and walk

Enjoy a social walk while doing your bit for the local wildlife.

Walk along the paths and fields of Dunnikier Park, enjoying the landscape and helping to keep it beautiful by litter-picking as we go, removing rubbish and helping to reduce plastic and other waste in the environment.

Litter pickers and bags will be provided. Refreshments are available at the Golf Club afterwards.

Additional Information

Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone and email if the walk cannot go ahead.

Participants should be able to walk 2 miles at an easy pace. The route is on paths and fields, with some uneven ground. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs on this walk please.

Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks if you feel you need them.

The event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.

Our booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events. Any information you choose to share about your background is managed separately to information that you give us to process your booking (for example, your name).

Accessibility information

This route is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the terrain. Please let us know of any accessibility requirements when booking.

There is accessible parking available at Ravenscraig Park.

Toilet facilities are available at Dunnikier Golf Club.
