Cycle Care – Wash and Lubricate (part of Kirkcaldy Cycling Festival)
An event to explain and demonstrate how best to care for your bike through the most efficient and effective methods of cleaning and lubricating your bike. The why, what, where and when of looking after your bike and ensuring that it operates smoothly and efficiently, as well as how to apply these techniques and practices in different types of cycling and different bicycles. Equipment and products will be available for demonstration along with advice and information.
The course is relevant to all levels of participants and no experience is required. Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience is necessary.
Discussing and demonstrating bicycle security.
The course will enable participants to improve knowledge and understanding of bicycle security at home or whilst cycling.
Equipment and products will be available for demonstration along with advice and tips to promote increased bicycle security. The course is relevant to all levels of participants and no experience is required.
