Climate Kids: Food Waste Warriors

Join us to discover why food waste is such a huge problem in this children’s online climate workshop. We will find out why composting is so important, carryout a food waste science experiment, make recycled compost caddy bags and learn ways we can cut down on household food waste.

This curriculum linked workshop will inspire your child to make more climate friendly decisions and will empower them to make a positive difference to the climate crisis.

This workshop is suitable for children aged 10 – 14 and will last around an hour. To take part in the activities you will need to gather a few household items together before-hand.

The event will take place on Zoom  – a link and password will be sent out a couple of days before the event. An adult must accompany children for the duration of the workshop.
