Castle and towers bike ride
Come along to this leisurely bike ride, doubling as a history lesson! We will visit various castles and towers around Kirkcaldy, many of which not many people know much about – if they even know they exist!
Key info:
- Distance – Long.
- Hills – mainly flat but a bit hillier when heading off-road in the Balwearie area.
- Surfaces – A mix of off-road and tarmacked surfaces. Not recommended for young children or bikes with skinnier tyres.
- Route – Connects St Serf’s Tower, Ravenscraig Castle, Balwearie Castle & Tower and Seafield Tower.
The ride will have several stops on the route, where our Ride Leader/Guide will be providing lots of interesting information about the sites we will be visiting.
