Further to the Government’s recent update on COVID-19, we have taken the decision to postpone all of our events from now until the 15th May. Full refunds will be given.
We are reviewing the situation daily and will give regular updates on future events, including new dates for postponed events.
The tradition of bread making is common to all cuisines around the world from simple flat breads to rich sweet breads. In this workshop, join our Community Chef Iain to learn how to make delicious, specialized breads.
The class will start with making dough, then progress onto turning it into stuffed paratha from Indian, luxurious focaccia bread with various classic toppings from Italy and Maneesh, a Middle Eastern bread topped with sesame seeds and herbs. You’ll also make a marmalade and malt loaf bread and butter pudding – a great way to use up leftover bread. You’ll leave the workshop with finished breads and dough to practice on at home.
The course is suitable for beginners. Please bring a bag to take home your creations. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you are booking. All ingredients, equipment and recipes cards are supplied.
There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
