Imagine taking your own freshly baked bread out of the oven – the smell, the taste and the satisfaction of having made it yourself.
At our fun and informative bread making workshop, you’ll learn a basic recipe to bake your own loaves at home, and how this can be adapted to create a variety of different types of bread. We’ll look at the ingredients and techniques – and how you can incorporate bread making into your daily life.
The workshop is hands-on – we’ll create a basic loaf from scratch, along with at least 1 variation. There will be time to discuss, taste and compare notes. Our tutor will be Jackie Vural who has many years experience of making a variety of breads and is a keen bread maker herself.
You’ll leave inspired and ready to abandon shop bought bread.
Suitable for beginners, and all abilities, interested in learning basic techniques to make your own bread. Some kneading will be required. Bring a container to take home your fresh bread.
There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
