Autumn Gin Infusions and Fruit Vinegars
This workshop is an introduction to making fruit and herb vinegars, and infusing gin. We’ll use ingredients from our gardens or foraged locally.
On our fun and informative workshop you’ll learn some basic recipes that you can then adapt at home to create a variety of options.
We’ll look at the ingredients and how to identify them. We’ll pick elderberries, herbs and brambles at the gardens and discuss how to use them, and we’ll share ideas about herbs and fruit you can use to create your own infusions.
The course is hands-on – we’ll make the fruit vinegar and start the gin infusion for you to continue with at home. There will be time to discuss, taste and compare notes.
You’ll leave inspired and ready to experiment.
About this event
The course is suitable for beginners and people interested in trying out something new.
Please bring a large jar with a lid for the gin infusion and a bag to take home your creations. We will supply the bottles for the vinegar.
