Apple Day
Saturday 3rd October : 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free

Join us in our Community Garden and Orchard to celebrate our apple trees. Everyone is welcome to explore the garden, learn about orchards and apple varieties and try some Kirkcaldy apple juice.
If you have more apples from your own garden than you know what to do with, bring them down for community juicing! We will prepare, scrat and press them together using our apple press, then taste the juice.
This event is family friendly and dog friendly.
Bring your apples for juicing! And a container for taking some juice away with you.
This is a drop-in event, no booking required!
Accessibility
Please note that there is a road closure on Dysart Road so if you are travelling by car you may have to follow a short, local diversion to get to us.
There are accessible parking spaces on site. Please note the terrain is mostly flat and the paths are gravel. The venue is outdoors with the exception of the working cabin. There is plenty of seating available.
If you are visiting the orchard area of our gardens please note this is not recommended for wheelchairs due to steep access and narrow and uneven pathways.
If you have any other accessibility questions please phone 01592 858458 or email info@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk.
