A Taste of India (Sold Out)
Tuesday 31st August : 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
A wide range of spices are used to flavour Indian Cooking and differ across regions and homes. A Garam Masala is an essential blend of warming spices that are roasted and ground. In this workshop, you will explore the spices used, and create your own unique garam masala blend to suit your personal taste. You’ll be making:
• Crispy onion bhajis with a coriander and mint dip.
• An Indian curry using your own Garam Masala blend (choose your own choice of ingredients from our kitchen table).
• Naan bread.
All dishes made can be taken away and enjoyed at home, and suitable for a plant-based diet.
This workshop will be led by our Community Chef Iain Mclellan, a skilled and talented Head Chef with over 20 years cooking experience. Iain is passionate about world cuisines and sharing his love of flavour combinations.
Some cooking skills are required in this workshop i.e. basic knife skills. Please bring some containers to take home your food. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you are booking.
