Christmas Upcycling – Make Your Own Advent Calendar
Wednesday 14th & 21st November, 6pm – 8pm
St Bryce Kirk Centre
There’s nothing that’ll get you more excited about Christmas than making your own advent calendar. Come along to our 2 part workshop and learn to make your own fabric advent calendar from upcycled textiles to treasure year after year.
Expert seamstress Gabbi Anderson will teach you basic hand and machine sewing skills to create your calendar with 24 little pockets to fill with Christmas surprises. This would make a great gift, or decoration for your own home!
The workshops are suitable for beginners and more advanced sewers. We’ll provide sewing machines, equipment, tools and materials. However, if you have any material you would like to use, or a sewing machine you would like to work on, feel free to bring them along. As well as learning basic sewing skills, you’ll make a handmade advent calendar to enjoy for years to come!
Classes are small to ensure you get the personal tuition you need. PLEASE NOTE: There is a minimum number of participants required for this workshop to go ahead.
There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
