Our River Leven Carnival Ride

Join us for a leisurely bike ride taking you on a loop around Leven, exploring the new paths along the River Leven to finish up at the Dam and carnival.

This ride will celebrate the opening of new paths and completion of the regeneration work of the River Leven Park.

The Leven Programme is all about bringing new life to the River Leven and the communities around it. Together, we’re working to make the river a cleaner, greener and more welcoming place — a place where nature can thrive, people can explore and connect, and local communities can benefit from new opportunities.

Route Information

• Distance – Medium
  Hills – no hills
  Surfaces – mainly smooth, good quality surfaces and sections that are uneven, with loose gravel. Your bike will need wider tyres, skinny roads tyres will be inappropriate for this route.
  Route – mainly on traffic-free paths, with some quiet roads

Additional Information

Please note that this bike ride is weather-dependent.

Participants should be able to cycle for 1.5 – 2hrs at a leisurely pace.

Please make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks. There are some sections that will be on unpaved surfaces.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

The event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community.

Our booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events. Any information you choose to share about your background is managed separately to information that you give us to process your booking (for example, your name).
