Going Greener Together

Community

Everything we do is led by our community.

We do lots of events and activities to bring our community together, ranging open days to kids clubs and film nights, to Apple Days in our orchard.

We can also give talks, and run activities and workshops with local groups, and work with lots of local partners, organisations and community groups, including the new Love Oor Lang Toun town-centre regeneration group. We are always keen to hear from people who want to work with us – contact us on info@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk for more information.

We are a community-led organisation and regularly hold events and consultations to see what activities you would like us to do. We love to hear our your ideas, feedback and suggestions – if you have any thoughts, please fill out our feedback form.

Our community building is currently closed to the public due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

Town Centre Regeneration

We are working closely with the new town centre regeneration group, Love Oor Lang Toun, on a number of projects, ensuring that both community interest and environmental sustainability are high on their agenda.
Urban journeys

Urban Journeys – Greener Kirkcaldy mural

We're working with two local artists - Hazel Terry and Catherine Lindow to create a mural for our events space which will tell the story of Greener Kirkcaldy and celebrate the community ownership of our building at East Fergus Place.

Holiday Kids Clubs

Our school holiday kids clubs include cooking clubs in our Lang Spoon Community Kitchen.
