SUMMARY:Victoria Hospital and Middle Den Loop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a sociable woodland stroll. We’ll follow a circular route through Middle Den\, enjoying the early autumn colours of nature and looking for fruits to forage. The walk returns to the hospital but there is no need to return to the start point if you’re on your way home. We can point out bus routes and onward walking routes as we go. \nThe 2-3 mile walk will take up to 2 hours\, and be on fairly flat\, paved surfaces with some sections of earth/gravel footpath. \nContact us if you need any more information. \nPart of our Healthy and Active Ways to Work programme. \nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather\, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. SUMMARY:Dr Bike (Healthy and Active ways to work) - Victoria Hospital
DESCRIPTION:Come along for free bike adjustments and advice for all NHS staff and the community surrounding Victoria Hospital. This is a free drop-in event with no booking required.  \nAt Dr Bike sessions\, our experienced mechanics check everything on your bike from wheels\, brakes\, gears and tyre pressure to lights\, racks\, pedals\, saddles and more. Any minor adjustments we can make to the bike\, we do there and then. This will include free replacement of brake cables and blocks where required. \nFor more complicated repairs that we can’t fix on site\, we will let you know exactly what needs to be done and give you a rough idea of what it should cost at a bike shop. \nNHS e-bikes \nE-bikes are available to all NHS staff for free as part of Healthy and Active ways to work\, we will have an e-bike so you can have a look and find out more info

SUMMARY:Lunchtime Stroll – Victoria Hospital
DESCRIPTION:This short half-mile walk will take us around the green areas of the hospital site\, enjoying the native trees and plants that flourish there. As a lunchtime walk\, this can be completed in about 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace. The average walker may clock up approximately 1000 steps on this route. The walk takes place on mostly flat\, paved surfaces with some short sections of mown grass (can be avoided)\, and some steps. \nContact us if you need any more information. \nPart of our Healthy and Active Ways to Work programme. \nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this walk is weather-dependent. The route is on tarmac\, gravel\, and mown grass. The route is mainly flat\, with short sloping sections of path\, and steps.
