SUMMARY:Tayport and Tentsmuir cycle ride
DESCRIPTION:Join us on this led ride as part of the Fife Climate Festival. We will lead a ride through Tayport and the surrounding area in partnership with PLANT. This ride encourages people to try cycling as a form of active travel and we will discover some great routes with wonderful views in North East Fife. \nRoute information\nDistance – Medium \nHills – no hills \nSurfaces – mainly smooth\, good quality surfaces and sections that are uneven\, with loose gravel. Your bike will need wider tyres\, skinny roads tyres will be inappropriate for this route. \nRoute – mainly on traffic-free paths\, with some quiet roads. \nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this bike ride is weather-dependent. \nParticipants should be able to cycle for 1.5 – 2 hours at a leisurely pace with breaks. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride. \nRemember to also bring your own water and snacks. \nIf you want to know more specific information about the route please contact us.
