DESCRIPTION:Would you like to gain experience in food and cooking\, and improve your progress into training\, education\, volunteering or employment? \nIn partnership with BRAG Enterprise Ltd.\, our next Food Works! programme starts on Wednesday 21st August 2019 11 am – 4 pm at Greener Kirkcaldy’s Lang Spoon Community Kitchen\, Kirkcaldy \nThe programme will run 1 day a week over a 7-week period. Every week we’ll have a practical cooking session where you will learn and develop lots of basic skills and techniques covering entry-level food skills. We’ll also help you improve your employability skills with the opportunity to gain accredited qualifications with support from BRAG and Fife Council Community Food Team. SUMMARY:Make Your Own Pasta
DESCRIPTION:During this hands-on workshop we’ll learn how to make a basic egg based pasta dough from scratch and then how to turn it into two different pasta shapes and types: tagliatelle and spinach and ricotta ravioli. \nWe’ll be making and rolling out the dough by hand and preparing the filling for the ravioli. We’ll also discuss how to serve the pasta and the best sauces to suit each type. \nThe workshop will be fun and relaxed with the opportunity for questions and discussions.
