SUMMARY:Open Afternoon – visit our Community Training Garden
DESCRIPTION:Gardens are now in full flower and already producing the first fruit and vegetables of the season. How is your growing year going so far? Would you like some advice and inspiration? Come along for a chat and share your successes and discuss any problems.\n\nOur volunteers will be on hand to show off the training garden and orchard then you can find out what’s being planned for this year.\n\nWalking around the garden should give you lots of ideas and inspiration to take back home. Our gardening staff and volunteers will be on hand to offer you free advice.\nWe will also have details of all the exciting events and workshops we have coming up this year!\n\nThere is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.\n  \nBooking information\nThis is an open event – no need to book\, just come along! \nFor more information contact us on 01592 858458 or e-mail info@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk. \n  \nDirections to Ravenscraig Walled Garden\nThe entrance to the Walled Garden is on Dysart Road\, at the junction with West Quality Street (don’t go into Ravenscraig Park\, and don’t park in the Ravenscraig Park car park – the entrance is on the road\, not in the park). The Walled Garden entrance is a large green metal gate. Come through the green gate (it will be open) into the Walled Garden car park. Then follow the path around to your right into the main part of the Walled Garden and look left: you will see a green ‘cabin’ and a polytunnel. That is our Training Garden\, where the event is taking place. Follow this link to an interactive map. \nParking onsite is limited – if the Walled Garden car park is full\, you can park on West Quality Street. We encourage you to walk\, cycle or use public transport if you can. The nearby bus stops are West Quality Street and Dysart Porte. There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
