SUMMARY:Sunday Social – Three Parks
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a leisurely bike ride. This ride will include the three main parks in Kirkcaldy\, as well as Pannie Den. From the lake at Beveridge Park to the coastal views at Ravenscraig and the woodland trails at Dunnikier Park\, there is lots to explore. \nThis ride is ideal for people looking to build up their fitness\, particularly on hills. It will also provide some opportunity to build up your confidence cycling on quiet roads. \nRoute information\n\nDistance – long\nHills – hilly. Includes several hills (which you can push your bike up if needed).\nSurfaces – a mixture of smooth\, good quality surfaces and compacted earth/blaes.\nRoute – mainly on traffic-free paths\, with some quiet roads.\n\nAdditional Information\nParticipants should be able to cycle for 1.5 – 2 hrs at a leisurely pace. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride. \nRemember to also bring your own water and snacks. \nBooking Instructions\nThe event is free but booking is required. You can choose to purchase a ticket with a donation. Donations help us do more work in our community. \nOur booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events.
