SUMMARY:Democracy Matters with Nourish Support Centre & Greener Kirkcaldy
DESCRIPTION:Nourish Support Centre and Greener Kirkcaldy are hosting an event where you can share your views on what decisions should be made by the local community\, we would love you to join us. The event will be facilitated by Stacey Donaldson from Nourish and Andrea Harrower from Greener Kirkcaldy. \nThis is an opportunity to meet and chat with other local residents and visit Nourish’s town centre community hub. At the workshop\, we will discuss local decision-making. You will have the chance to share your thoughts and opinions. After the event\, we will write a report to let the Scottish Government know what people in our community think. \nWe will provide a light lunch\, but you are also welcome to bring your own food and drink. \nThere is a supervised area for children to play so that adult members of families can be included in this event. Please note overall responsibility for your child is your own. \nWhy are we holding this event? \nThe Scottish Government wants to know how people feel about local democracy and how we can have more of a say in civic life. Nourish and Greener Kirkcaldy want to help ensure people from Kirkcaldy are included in this and can have their voices heard. \nIf you want to read the questions\, we will discuss at this event in advance you can find them online. https://www.gov.scot/publications/democracy-matters-phase-2-consultation-easy-read/ \nBooking Information\nThis event is free to book and includes a light lunch.
