SUMMARY:Evening walk - Victoria Hospital & Dunnikier
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a sociable summer stroll. We’ll head up through Middle Den before exploring the wide open green spaces of Dunnikier Park. This will be a great time of year to enjoy the many tree species\, wild flowers\, and bird/insect life. The walk returns to the hospital but no need to return to the start point if you’re on your way home – we’ll point out bus routes and onward walking routes as we go. \nThe 2-3 mile walk will take up to 2 hours\, and be on fairly flat\, paved surfaces with some sections of gravel footpath/mown grass. Contact us if you need any more information. \nPart of our Healthy and Active Ways to Work programme. \nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather\, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone\, email and any cancellation will be also posted on Facebook if the walk cannot go ahead. \nThe 2-3 mile walk will take up to 2 hours\, and be on fairly flat\, paved surfaces with some sections of gravel footpath/mown grass \nContact us if you need any more information. \nPlease wear appropriate clothes for the weather and please wear sensible walking shoes. DESCRIPTION:Walking in a group is a great way to start walking\, make new friends and stay motivated. \nJoin us for a sociable summer stroll. We will head up through Middle Den before exploring the wide-open green spaces of Dunnikier Park. We may do some tree identifying as we go!  \nThe 2.5-mile walk will take around 1.5 hours\, and be on fairly flat\, paved surfaces with some sections of gravel footpath/mown grass.  \nPart of our Bike\, Walk\, Move programme.  \nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather\, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone and email if the walk cannot go ahead. \nParticipants should be able to walk 2.5 miles at a leisurely pace. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. \nPlease wear appropriate clothes for the weather.
