SUMMARY:Our River Leven Carnival Ride
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a leisurely bike ride taking you on a loop around Leven\, exploring the new paths along the River Leven to finish up at the Dam and carnival. \nThis ride will celebrate the opening of new paths and completion of the regeneration work of the River Leven Park. \nThe Leven Programme is all about bringing new life to the River Leven and the communities around it. Together\, we’re working to make the river a cleaner\, greener and more welcoming place — a place where nature can thrive\, people can explore and connect\, and local communities can benefit from new opportunities. \nRoute Information \n\nDistance – Medium\nHills – no hills\nSurfaces – mainly smooth\, good quality surfaces and sections that are uneven\, with loose gravel. Your bike will need wider tyres\, skinny roads tyres will be inappropriate for this route.\nRoute – mainly on traffic-free paths\, with some quiet roads\n\nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this bike ride is weather-dependent. \nParticipants should be able to cycle for 1.5 – 2hrs at a leisurely pace. \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks. There are some sections that will be on unpaved surfaces. \nUnder 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. \nIf you want to know more specific information about the route please contact us.
