SUMMARY:Sunday Social Ride – Inner Kirkcaldy Wemyss Ware Cat Cycle/Trail
DESCRIPTION:From April to September 2026\, 17 large-scale cat sculptures are being displayed across the town\, each uniquely designed by talented artists and inspired by the iconic Wemyss Ware pottery cats. \nJoin us to follow the trail\, discover each unique design\, and explore Kirkcaldy in a whole new way.  From the seafront to the town centre and beyond\, each stop reveals a new piece of artwork and a new part of the town to enjoy. \nThe trail has been brought to life by local artists\, supported by the Adam Smith Global Foundation\, the Kirkcaldy Lottery\, and a network of local sponsors. Find out more about the Wemyss Ware Cat Trail \nRoute information\nDistance – medium to long \nHills – three hills \nSurfaces – mainly smooth\, good quality surfaces. One short sections with a slightly rougher surface. \nRoute – mainly on quiet roads\, with some on traffic-free paths. \nWe will leave promptly at 10:45. Please let us know if you are going to be late. On the day contact information will be sent in the reminder email before the ride.  \nAdditional Information \nChildren under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. \n⁠Medication\, if you normally carry an inhaler or EpiPen (or similar) please ensure you bring this with you \n– ⁠Water\, look to bring a water bottle that fits your bike of day sack \n– ⁠Wind/waterproof jacket\, always a good idea to bring with you \n– ⁠Bike check\, check your bike for any issues before attending the cycle on Sunday \nIf you want to know more specific information about the route please contact us.
