SUMMARY:Big Day Oot bike ride
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a leisurely bike ride. This ride is to celebrate climate-friendly travel as part of the Fife Climate Festival. This ride will take you past Leven train station and onto Silverburn Park. \nWe will visit the Big Day Oot where there will be a variety of fun activities for the whole family. We will spend some time here\, enjoy the activities and rest. \nIf you wish to end the ride here you can\, or you can return with the group to Buckhaven via the Leven train station. \nRoute Information\nDistance – Medium \nHills – includes 1 hill \nSurfaces – mainly smooth\, good-quality surfaces. Some short sections that are uneven\, with loose gravel. \nRoute – mainly on quite roads with some traffic-free paths\, \nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this bike ride is weather-dependent. \nParticipants should be able to cycle for 1.5 – 2 hours at a leisurely pace with breaks. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. We will carry out basic bike checks at the start of the ride. \nRemember to also bring your own water and snacks. \nIf you want to know more specific information about the route please contact us. Donations help us do more work in our community. \nOur booking form includes a series of optional anonymous questions. These help us learn more about the people we reach through our events. If you would rather park at Leven train station where there is accessible spaces and join us from there please let us know in the accessibility requirements section of the booking form.
