DESCRIPTION:Get everyone on their bikes and join us for a family friendly cycle. We’ll be cycling on quiet streets and shared use paths. Get some exercise and meet other cyclists! We’ll finish off with a picnic at Beveridge Park – please bring your own snacks and drinks. \nPlease make sure your bikes are roadworthy before coming. All children must be able to cycle. Maximum 2 children per adult please. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a family-friendly cycling event\, with something for all ages! \nActivities will include bike repairs with Dr Bike\, bike track\, children’s cycle skills\, bike sale with Leslie Bike Shop\, child carrier try-outs\, electric bike trials\, face painting\, glitter tattoos\, balloons and bike decoration craft activities. \nWe’ll also be running two led rides: \n\n12.30pm – 1.30pm – cycle paths outside the park\n3pm – 3.30pm – a leisurely ride around the park\, possibly including some off-road trails in and around the park\n\nCome along to find out more about cycling\, get your questions answered and enjoy fun activities and fresh air while meeting other cyclists!

DESCRIPTION:Would you like to cycle more with your kids? Maybe you haven’t cycled in a while\, aren’t confident cycling with your kids\, or would just like to enjoy more time on your bike with your children. Bring your kids along to our free programme of Parent and Child cycle training with local cycling guru\, Jim. \nIn our 4-week programme\, we’ll help you increase your skills and confidence cycling with your kids in parks\, on the prom\, and on quiet roads. We’ll meet weekly\, for half an hour in Beveridge Park. We’ll cover cycle familiarisation\, basic bike care\, maintenance and roadside repairs\, fun confidence-building activities and led rides around the park. On the last week of the programme\, we’ll take a leisurely 45-minute ride on quiet roads out of the park on to the prom. \nGet some exercise\, increase your skills\, gain confidence\, learn new routes\, meet other cyclists\, and enjoy time on your bike with your children. \nThis programme runs for 4 weeks\, starting Monday 22nd July 2019\, 5.30pm – 6pm.
