DESCRIPTION:A series of leisurely rides using a mix of traffic-free paths and minor roads. These rides are ideal for people who don’t cycle regularly and who would like to build up their confidence and fitness levels on a bike.  \nThis course of three relaxed sessions will allow riders to feel safe and support each other to build cycling confidence. It will be held on Mondays over three weeks: 15th\, 22nd and 29th of August from 6:30pm to 8pm. By booking a place on this event\, you will be expected to turn up on all 3 dates. \nWe will be meeting by the car park in Beveridge Park. \nRides will be adapted to suit participants’ abilities\, with breaks as needed. \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. This ride will go along the Prom before coming back to Beveridge Park via quiet roads. It will finish with a loop of Beveridge Park. \nThis ride is ideal for people who are looking to progress from our shorter rides. Whilst this route is relatively flat\, the two uphill sections will give you the chance to improve your fitness cycling uphill. SUMMARY:Bike Ride - Couch to 5 Miles
DESCRIPTION:One of a series of regular\, leisurely rides using a mix of traffic-free paths and minor roads. These rides are ideal for people who don’t cycle regularly and who would like to build up their confidence and fitness levels on a bike.  \nWe will be meeting by the car park in Beveridge Park.  \nRides will be adapted to suit participants’ abilities\, with breaks as needed.  \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Basic bike checks will be carried out before the ride. This ride form a loop near the edge of Kirkcaldy\, including Pannie Den and Dunnikier Park. \nWe will be meeting by the car park in Beveridge Park.  \nParticipants should be able to cycle for 1.5-2hrs at a leisurely pace.  \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. SUMMARY:Essential Cycle Skills - Quiet Roads (over two weeks)
DESCRIPTION:Would you like to build up your confidence on two wheels? We’re offering free cycle training sessions for adults to help you increase your skills\, gain confidence\, and get out on your bikes more.  \nThis will run over two weeks\, on Wednesdays 28th July and 4th August.
