SUMMARY:Kirkcaldy evening bat walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening walk\, discovering the bats that live around Beveridge Park and learning more about these fascinating creatures. A ‘bat detector’ device will enable us to listen in on their world. Led by Tony Wilson\, local naturalist. \nThe 2-mile (max) walk will take around 2 hours\, and be on mainly flat surfaces: tarmac\, pavement and path. Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied). \nNo dogs on this walk\, please. \nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather\, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone\, email and any cancellation will be also posted on Facebook if the walk cannot go ahead. \nContact us if you need any more information. \nPlease wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Please bring your own water and snacks. \nUnder 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please. \nIf you want to know more specific information about the route please contact us.
