SUMMARY:Sunday Social - Glenrothes Gallivant (new route)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a leisurely bike ride. This ride will head to Glenrothes\, where it will do a loop along some of the town’s most scenic routes\, before heading back to Kirkcaldy. \nThis ride is ideal for people looking to build up their fitness with a longer ride. The route passes by Fife Council’s base at Bankhead\, showing you a quiet route for anyone wanting to commute to Glenrothes. \nRoute Information \n\nDistance – long\nHills – one long hill\nSurfaces – mainly surfaced\, with one section on compacted earth\nRoute – mainly on traffic-free paths\, with some on quiet roads. One short stretch on a busier road.\n\nAdditional Information\nPlease note that this bike ride is weather-dependent. \nParticipants should be able to cycle for 2-2.5hrs at a leisurely pace. \nPlease make sure your bike is roadworthy before coming and wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Remember to also bring your own water and snacks. There are some sections that will be on unpaved surfaces. \nUnder 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. \nIf you want to know more specific information about the route please contact us.
