SUMMARY:Kate Rawles talk and cycle to EATS Rosyth

Kate will share stories of her adventures riding through South America on a self-built bamboo bike while reflecting on biodiversity loss and the effects of the climate emergency. \nYou can also join Kate and Climate Action Fife for a led-ride to EATS Rosyth to celebrate apple day at their community garden. All styles of bikes are suitable for this ride. Our pace will be slow and steady. The route to EATS Rosyth will be mostly flat and downhill. But on the way home we need to go gently uphill back to Dunfermline. \nThere will be an opportunity to purchase Kate’s latest book at the talk. \nProgramme: \n10:45am – Arrivals and light breakfast refreshments including tea and coffee. \n11am – Talk \n12:30pm – Q&A \n1:30pm – Talk event end / Lunch break for cyclists \n2pm – Cycle ride (Leaving from Glen Pavilion) \n2:30pm – EATS Rosyth visit \n3:30pm – Return cycle to Dunfermline \nBooking information\nThe event is free but booking is required.
