Bike Loan Scheme – Borrow a Bike for Free!

Posted on 23rd June 2017 by Rosanna Zywietz

Riding a bike is healthier, cheaper and better for the environment. If you are considering buying a bike to get around, but don’t know if it’s right for you,  why not borrow a bike from us first?

You can borrow a bike for up to a month to see if you like it before you buy your own. We have a selection of male and female hybrid bikes, a folding bike and electric bikes.

In addition to the bikes, we loan out locks, lights and helmets.

How do I borrow?

Bikes can be borrowed by prior arrangement for up to a month. Email info@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk or phone 01592 858458 to arrange a meeting to collect the bike.

Details will be stored securely and will not be shared with any third party. View our full privacy policy here.

Hybrid and folding bikes

We need to see 2 forms of ID – 1 photographic and 1 proof of address before you are able to borrow a bike.

Electric Bikes

We need to see 2 forms of ID – 1 photographic and 1 proof of address before you are able to borrow a bike.

We also require a £50 cash deposit. The money will be refunded on return of the bike.
