Welcome to Greener Kirkcaldy
Greener Kirkcaldy helps people to be more environmentally friendly and to save cash on their fuel bills. Our advice centre in Kirkcaldy town centre can give free information and support relevant to you and your home, on energy (saving energy or generating your own), eco-friendly food choices, and greener transport options (from efficient ‘eco-driving’ to cycling and walking). Please come along to take a look around, get hands-on with the interactive displays, take home a few leaflets or talk to one of our friendly staff. The centre is open each Thursday (10am-2pm), Friday (12 noon – 5pm) and Saturday (10am – 5pm). We are also planning to work with community groups – giving talks and workshops, and coming to events. Please get in touch if you are interested in working together or have any suggestions!

Wild Berry Walk on Sat 21st August
The second in our series of wild food events takes place on Saturday 21st August from 11-1pm. Fife Countryside Ranger Tony Wilson will lead a walk in Dunnikier woods to search for early brambles, wild raspberries and much more! We’ll discuss how to identify them and share ideas/recipes to make the most of them.
